Douglas Broad, Bush poet didn't quite make the finals, which gives you some idea of the quality of the performances at the Nimbin World Poetry Cup this year. This is a classic 'bush' poem, based (according to Doug) on a true story; an account of a two-up game that had the audience on the edge of its seat.
